I remember Rich from when we were kids at Zion Lutheran and thereafter through the fire companys of northern Chester County. He was a great guy; honest, dependable, the kind of guy that you could trust your life to and fun too. Even though I haven't seen him for many years, I feel a loss just knowing that he is gone.

It is impossible to adequately express my sincere sympathy at this most difficult time for your family. I had worked very closely with Rich at CWA Local 13000. Therefore, I feel that I have lost a very good friend. Rich was always straightforward and honest and cared for all his members as Unit 22 President and will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Holoka family. I grew up and traveled the school bus with Heather and David. Later in life, while a Township Supervisor, I came to know Richard Holoka, who I always called Mr. Holoka. He was thoughtful, caring, and someone who everyone respected when he spoke up at public meetings. A very decent, decent man who gave back to his community in so many ways. God bless him, and the Holoka family. My condolences.
Sincerely,
Ryan Costello

I remember when we were living on the farm Rich would stop by with his bucket truck. He would give me rides in the bucket. He also would give me wire to make the bracelets we made back then. Joe and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. In Gods Love

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. I had the privilege of working with Rich over the years at CWA Local13000. He was a good friend, a good man and a devoted Union leader. Rich had the gift of always being able to insert that comical comment at just the right time to put a smile on everyone’s face. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. We hold you and your family in our prayers.
