Verda Wells, 75, Phoenixville

Verda Wells, 75, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her beloved sons by her side on Tuesday December 21, 2021 in the Paoli Hospital. She was born June 24, 1946.

 

Vibrant and full of life, Verda brought joy when she walked into a room. A Spring Ford Graduate, Verda was not afraid of hard work. She helped build Wells Country Floor Coverings and then established her own business of Rita’s Water Ice, Gap. Her passion was people and family. She enjoyed cooking and a good conversation around the table. Verda’s cozy log cabin home is a place of cherished memories for so many that knew her. It was not uncommon to see Verda around the community. She had many dear friends. Verda loved her church, enjoyed her trips to Longwood Gardens, decorating, music and the arts. She adored her children and grandchildren.

 

Verda’s legacy is left behind in her children and grandchildren:

Rusty Wells (wife, Suzanne) and Troy Wells (wife, Donna), five grandchildren: Harrison, Hayden, Henry, Carly and Trevor.

 

A Private Graveside Service will be held with Rev. Stacy Jones Anderson officiating.  Verda’s final resting place will be in Keelys Church Cemetery, 77 N. Limerick Road, Schwenksville.  Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2022.  Please save the date and email celebrateverda@gmail.com to be notified of further details when they become available.
