Mark Edward Peltier, age 57, husband of Nancy Watrous Peltier of east Vincent Township died suddenly in his sleep on Saturday November 13, 2010 at his home in Spring City, PA.
Mark was born in South Bend, Indiana, a son of Hubert and Joan (Schroeder) Peltier.
Mark was a 1971 graduate of Conestoga High School; He was employed by Jack Burnley and Sons Stair Builders for many years. He served in the United States Army as a Military Police officer at Fort Sill and the Ansbach Germany base.
Mark was an avid Philadelphia sports Phanatic. He enjoyed his cats, dogs, and horses with his wife at Chance Ventures Farm. Through his culinary prowess and comedic wizardry Mark always won the hearts of all those whom he encountered.
Mark is survived by a son: Brandon G. Peltier of Bristol, CT and three sisters: Jan, wife of Skip Draber, of Vienna, WV, Marcia wife of Chris Brinker of Wilmington, DE and Karen wife of Dave Riggert of Groton, MA and brothers: Bret W. Peltier of Kitty Hawk, NC and Jeffrey H. Peltier of Kennett Square PA, and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday at 12 noon at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City. Interment will be private in Hamden, CT. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30am to 12 Noon at the funeral home.
