Another life long neighbor and friend since I was 5 years old and my brothers.Doc and sis were always there for us as we grew up , South Main Street will never be the same.
Rest in peace with sis.
My prayers go out to the family. I remember Mr. Collopy very well. He was a wonderful man, I lived about 2 blocks away from the market and loved going there. It is a wonderful childhood memory that he helped to create. I will go on remembering him that way.
I'm so sorry for your loss, your father was a good man and I will remember all the good times our families had togeather on the camping trips and visits to their home. I know you will miss him but he's join the group and I can see them sitting around the campfire talking about old times.
Chief Collopy was one of those rare people you meet for the first time, and instantly feel like you knew him forever. Doc had common sense and a brillant sense of humor and always found the best in people. Even in retirement, Clarence was always ready to lend a hand and has been very helpful to me over the last 20 years.
Having been a long time resident of Spring City, I have fond childhood memories of the store on Main Street and going to school with Carol Sue. He will be missed by all. My deepest sympathies to all the friends and family and may God bless.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
