I just wanted to comment about what a special man Mr. Stone was. I was a student at Upper Merion and feel very fortunate to have known him. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us! RIP Mr. Stone!
I have many fond memories of John as a fellow teacher at Upper Merion. He was an outstanding role model both as an educator and a veteran. His love for his country was unequalled by others.
My condolences to the family.
We remember all the good times working for John at all of the sporting events at the High School. Pat, You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers
I knew and respected John while working at Upper Merion High School while employed as a maintenance man and painter. I will always remember what a great person, colleague and friend he was to me. Blessings to all of the family. John was a GREAT person.
Coach Stone is a legendary figure for many us who played football for him at Upper Merion. He was not only a great coach, but a leader who brought out the best in people. I'm a better person for having him in my life. He will be missed.
