Arlene M. DeWalt, age 91 beloved wife of Richard C. DeWalt Sr. of Royersford, died on Friday evening in the Phoenixville Hospital. Arlene was born and lived all of her life in Royersford, she was the daughter to the late Edward and Helen (Lightcap) Mauger. She was agraduate of Royersford High School. Arlene and Richard were in their 69th year of marriage as she took pride in raisng her family and sharing her life with her husband. She found joy in cooking and baking, and her time at the beach, she loved providing a loving home for her children and spending time with all of her family. Arlene was an active member of the grace Lutheran Church inn Royersford and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In additon to her husband she is survived by daughters: Carol Adelsberger(James) of Hatfield, and Susan Latch(Daniel) of Perkiomenville and a son: Richard C. DeWalt Jr. of Boyertown. and seven granchilren and eight great grandchildren. and sister: Betty Keeley(Vernon) of Spring City. also predeceased by sisters: E. Virginia Mauger, Mildred Weber, Marian Dunlap and a brother: Robert Mauger. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral servcie on Saturday at 11:00am at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church located at the corner of Main Street and 6th Ave. Royersford, The Rev. Janelle L. Krais will officate. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Visiation will be held in the church fellowship hall downstairs Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:30-10:45 am.
