Madeleine R. Leo, 90, of Block Island, RI passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009. She was the wife of the late Edward H. J. Leo, died on Saturday, August 8, 2009. She was born in San Clemente, Italy on August 19, 1918 ta daughter of the late Sebastiano and Marianna (Granatella) D'Errico. Prior to moving to Block Island, RI, in 1999 she lived in Phoenixville where she and her husband operated a gift and beauty shop. She was also a salesperson at the Heather Shop, a clothng store in Reading, PA. Survivors are a daughter, Theresa Sisto of Block Island, RI, with whom she resided and John E. Leo of Phoenixville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Church, 219 Dayton St., Phoenixville at 10 a.m., the Reverend Michael Rzonca (the clergy form has Reverend John Newns listed) will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Pothouse Rd., Phoenixville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Mary D. Fund, O.O.
