George Elton Walton, 79, Elverson George Elton Walton, age 79 beloved husband of Audrey (Andrien) Walton of Elverson, PA died on Friday evening in the Abington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Walton was born in Chester Springs a son to the late Samuel and Mary (Miller) Walton. He resided most of his life in Elverson. He owned and operated G. Elton Walton and Sons Painting for many years until his retirement. Elton enjoyed woodworking, especially restoring antique furniture. He enjoyed spending his time making crafts for his family and giving them as gifts at Christmas, Elton loved his family and spending time with each one. In addition to his wife, Audrey, Elton is survived by his four children, Curt Walton (Krista) of Spring City, Craig Walton (Shirley) of Elverson, Keith Walton (Missy) of Elverson, and Joyce Dawson (Tim) of Pottstown; seven grandchildren , Karie Walton, James Kendal Walton (Jasna), Luke Walton (Jenney), Cory Walton (Jessy), Brandon Walton (Rachael), Justin Walton (Hannah), and Cole Dawson; and two great grandchildren Natalija and Eli with Baby Walton on the way. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm Wednesday in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City on Wednesday, October 18 ,with the Rev. Jeb Bland officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:30 pm Thursday in the funeral home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA. Burial will be held privately.
