I didn't know John that well, but I remember him as a quiet nice man. I played softball with Sherry for the Oberdan Club (no longer there, now a holy ghost church hall) and we used to all hang out after the games. I remember when Sherry and John started dating, I believe another woman was interested in John (he was good looking, sweet and such a nice guy so I remember many woman being interested!). Anyway, this woman wasn't getting the message, so he pretended Sherry was his girlfriend and danced with her all night....and that was that! We all lost touch but I drove past his house everyday for work and saw how beautiful the landscaping and outdoor areas were, and would sometimes see him on the patio. I am sure the maintenance crew in heaven said: "thank God John is here now, these gardens need his touch"....

So sorry for your loss. I knew John when I lived @ 7 E. High St in Phoenixville. I was real young maybe - 10-11 yrs. old. I rememeber his grandmother Mrs. Wilk lived next door to us with his Uncle Lefty & Adam. Too young!! Again so sorry!
