Prayers to the Finkbiner family. Mr. Finkbiner was my biology teacher in high school. He wouldn't know it, but I've often thought of him & his class throughout my life since. He was a classy guy who gave you the time to hear what you had to say, and if he liked what he heard, he'd say, "Mr. Thompson, point well-taken!" It was a tough class for me, but I enjoyed Mr. Finkbiner. Often had something nice to say to me when I'd pass him in the halls too, the years after I finished his class. He was a class act.
Rest in peace, Mr. Finkbiner. I'm sorry I didn't bump into you after I graduated.

Betty, I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a great teacher, a mentor to so many and a great friend to me who told me like it was whether I wanted to hear it or not. I will miss him dearly. I will never forget our talks, the smell of his pipe during class, hearing stories about the dogs he loved and visiting with you both. May friends, family and God comfort you during this time.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Mt Finkbiner. He was my 10th grade science teacher and hands down my favorite teacher of all time. He sparked my interest in science and I thought of him and his teachings more than once in my schooling to become a nurse.

He was a great biology teacher and life lessons coach. Great example of what a GREAT teacher is, was, and should be. He always had a smile. I learned KISS from him and still use it in my life as an adult and parent. I am teaching it to my boys.

I will always have a special place in my heart. He was not only my Biology teacher, he was a great mentor. He sparked my curiosity in science. He was always there to help with my school work or to just listen to me about whatever I needed to talk about.
It was a joy and pleasure to call me my teacher and friend. I will miss you tremendously. Thank you for all you did for me and all your students.

We offer our condolences to the Finkbiner family of the passing of Mr. Finkbiner. Truly an icon in the Spring-Ford community. We were both fortunate to have Mr. Finkbiner as our Biology and he influenced us to both become teachers. He was my wrestling coach for two years after coach Keyser. who was the first wrestling coach at Spring-Ford. We will not be able to attend his services because we are in FL visiting our our son, David and his family, but our thoughts and prayers are with you, Betty. God Bless the Finkbiner family.
