Richard C. Roussey, age 79, beloved wife of Marsha (Washburn) Roussey of Spring City died on Sunday, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Kennet Square, PA Richard was the son of the late Edwin H. Roussey and Minnie (Diem) Roussey, he attended the East Coventry Schools, and resided most of his life in the Spring City area.
Richard and Martha were in their 50th year of marriage , he was employed for over 35 yeasr at the former Sunny Slope Dairies, West Dairies, and Parmalat until its closure and his retirement.
After retirement Richard worked as apart time bartender at the Spring City American Legion, he was an fan of Phillies Baseball and the Philadelphia Eagles football. He was member of the Spring City American Legion and a Life member of the Liberty Fire Company in Spring City. he enjoyed racing and especially racing at Grand View Raceway in his past.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughters:
Donna Fries of Sonestown, PA and Lori Kane of Elizabethtown, PA and four grandchildfren and six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews he is pre deceased by a sons: Richard Roussey and Charles "Churck "Roussey and grandson: Paul Fries
Relatives and frineds are invited to attend his funeral servcie on saturday at 10:30 am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral hOme bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.
