Dear Aunt Helen,
There are so many things that will come to mind when we think of you.
You will always be remembered for your quiet grace. Your kindness and your patience, and a great sense of humor, even through the difficult times in your life. I smile when I think of some of those little, sneaky, practical jokes you pulled on me!
You had a special light that glowed from within your soul. You loved your family unconditionally. You showed them that,every day you walked this earth. They showed you great love in return, and stayed by your side through your passing.
You always had a kind word for everyone that crossed your path.
We know that you were helped along the way in your journey to heaven by family that passed before you, especially grand- mom and grand- pop Mendrey, and your siblings Margaret, Josephine, Steve, John, Caroline, and Ed, as well as little Bobby and Mary. Your sister Betty will miss you terribly.
There will be a hole in the hearts of your children, grand -children and great- grand -children, but they are strong like you, and determined, and will, go on and live on, as a tribute to you.
Our lives will not be the same without you.
