Frederick K. Schmitt, 75, Spring City Frederick K. Schmitt, 75, of Spring City, died peacefully at home on December 7th, 2015. Fred was born in Elkins Park on May 21, 1940.He was the son of the late Karl (Fred) & Marie (Belledin)Schmitt, beloved husband of Kathy (Madden) Schmitt and devoted father to his only daughter, Lisa. In addition to his wife and daughter, Fred is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Dewey Clark, niece Marianne Clark Rubenstein, and nephew Michael Clark. The funeral services will be held at 11:00am on December 11,2015 at St. Joseph’s Church in Spring City, PA. Visitation will begin in 9:30 AM. Funeral service to begin at 11:00. Rev. Charles O’Hara officiating. Interment at St. Matthews, Conshohocken, PA In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fred’s memory may be made to Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation.
