On September 11th 2015 Donald Francis Tarlecki peacefully passed on to be with our Lord. He is survived by his brothers, Robert and James and younger sister Andrea. His daughter Lynne; grand daughters Alicia and Melissa and 12 great grandchildren. He served our country by enlisting into the Air Force at the age of 19 and with his military brothers, fought in the Korean War. Throughout the rest of his life music in the form of clarinet, piano and his favorite, stand up bass played a major part in his life. He played in several bands and even served numerous terms as President of the Musicians Union in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He was a lifelong member of the VFW BPOE, auxiliary member of the American Legion and the Downingtown MOOSE. With these memberships brought lifelong friendships. The Wednesday and Thursday night bingo games were his passions. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2015. A 10:30 service will be held at Shalkop, Grace & Strunk FH 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA with Father Donato Silveri presiding.
