Gerald Morrison, 76, died Thursday in Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA after a long battle of illnesses. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Samuel and the late Florence (Dutton) Morrison. A graduate of Thomas Edison High School, he then attended technical school. He was employed as an Mechanical Engineer for Ingersol Rand Company. He was a veteran of The United States Navy and Navy Reserve He is survived by his four children: Steven Andrew Morrison of Roslyn, PA, Sandralynn Morrison - Lopez of Belmont, NC, Michael Greg Morrison of Fayetteville, NC, and Cynthia. Neff of Kimberton, PA. He had 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased by his three brothers, James, John, and Samuel. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, September 5, at 11:00 AM at the Schalkop, Grace, & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA 19475. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A small graveside service will be preformed following the funeral at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Pottstown, PA.
