I knew Stanley from the SouthEastern Veteran Center over the last two years...during Bingo on Tuesday nights. Helen was always by his side razzing everyone... we were the "party" table. Stanley would sometimes add his two cents to lighten the evening for all of us. He seemed to enjoy the attention and company.
With fond memories,
Jo-Ann Messer (bingo-Jo-Ann)
I grew up in the house across from the Pisarek family so I have known him all my life. I have always felt like they were like my extended family. I moved away when I got married, but moved back about 12 years ago. When I was younger he always enjoyed watching my brother and I playing outside, and when I moved back with my children I know he got more enjoyment watching my kids play. He was always working outside in his yard. I don't remember a day when he wasn't outside doing something he enjoyed. He had such spirit and a great sense of humor, and it was a sad day for us when he moved to the Veterans Home. He was loved by my entire family and will be missed, but we will always have fond memories forever!
