George W. "Jim" McKissic, age 92, beloved husband of Esther (Clevenstine) McKissic, died on Monday in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville PA. Jim was born in Linfiled, PA a son to the late George Towers McKissic and Margarte (McCullough) McKissic. He reised most of his life in Spring City, a graduate of the former Spring Cit High School. Jim was in business for over 55 years as owner and operator of GT McKissic Appliance and Hardware until his retirement. He was a member of teh ZionLutheran Church and was also past president of the Spring City Lions Club, Also a member of the Spring Ford Lodge #553 with his thirty second degree. Also a long time member of Spring Ford County Club, Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling and traveling to Canada to fish. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter: Deborah Bosler of Reading PA and son: Robb McKissic of Royersford and grandchildren: Lauren Pluschke,Kendra Heintzen, Megan Vance and Leah Barszez and great grandchildren: Alexander Heintzen and Charloette Barszez. Grave side funeral services are being held private at the conviennence of the family.
