Raymond F. Tanyer, Sr., 66, husband of Sallie Tanyer of North Coventry died Sunday at his home. He was born in Salem, New Jersey to the late Kenneth and the late Martha Tanyer. He resided most of his life in North Coventry he was employed as a Truck Driver for many years at the former Jones Motor Company of Spring City where he received Safe Driving Awards. He was a past member the Pottstown VFW and the Liberty Fire Company of Spring City, Mr. Tanyer was an avid pool shooter and enjoyed cooking. Mr. Tanyer is survived by six children: Tina Highley wife of David C. of Schwenksville and Barbara Weisman of Limerick, Sons: Raymond F. Tanyer Jr husband of Cheryl of Limerick, Renee Seidle of Birdsboro and Scott Herbine of North Coventry and Judge Tanyer husband of Jenn of Pottstown. And 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by sister: Marty Magrauer and brother: Jessie Tanyer. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday December 20, 2009 at 1:00pm at 230 Neiffer Road Schwenksville, PA; Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private.
