Neva Regina Sales, 95, widow of Richard F. Sales, died Sunday, October 12 at The Southeastern Veterans Center. Having lived in Warwick Township for 57 years, Neva was born in Norristown, November 9, 1918, PA to the late Abraham and the late Clara (Ottinger) Custer. An avid homemaker, Neva was a member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ. She also worked at the former Woolworth Co. and The Valley Forge Army Hospital . She is survived by her two sons, Jesse Kern, husband of Alva of Florida, Robert Kern, husband of Judy, of Spring City, one daughter, Sharon Sales Kittredge of Colorado; three granddaughters, Jessica Wojtowicz, Katelin Wojtowicz, and Victoria Kern; and one grandson, Mark Kern; and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by one daughter, Linda Jean Sales; sister, Dorothy Belfield, and two brothers, Howard Custer and Frederick Custer. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 225 Schuylkill Rd., Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held privately.
