"Maternity, Mrs. Stults." That is how Robin answered the phone. No nonsense, straightforward. That is also how Robin answered the call. This is who I am. What do you need? How can I help? I once saw her come to the Hospital on her day off to help parents in our NICU with complicated Notary work. Robin was the embodiment of that joke "...or do you want to talk to the secretary who really runs things?" I don't usually presume to speak for others, but Robin was loved by all of us on the unit. "salt of the earth," "such a good woman," "so kind and giving." are only a few things I've heard about Robin. Robin would cook for us on our birthdays without even being asked. I used to tell her that we would be up the creek when she retired, because she knew EVERYTHING. We were not prepared to lose her this way, and our hearts cry. As we miss her we have every confidence that Saint Peter took one look a t Robin and said "push the door!"
