Josephine A Nesspor, 89, of Royersford
Josephine A (DePaoli) Nesspor, 89, of Royersford, PA wife of the late Joseph D. Nesspor Sr, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born March 7, 1935, in Washington, PA, she is predeceased by her parents Alfred DePaoli and Theresa (Ciccone) DePaoli, her Brothers Jack Poole, Joseph DePaoli, Martin DePaoli, James DePaoli, Alexander DePaoli, John DePaoli, Arley DePaoli Sr., and Sisters Ernestine D’Amico, Hazel Manfredi and Rose Calcinore.
Josie was a 1952 graduate of Royersford High School and a graduate of Empire Beauty School. She worked as a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone, and as the Head Telephone Operator for Bechtel Corporation at the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant. She also worked at The Vanguard Group of Investments as a Data Entry Operator.
Josie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Royersford. She enjoyed traveling, going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends. And, if you knew Josie, you know that cleaning, laundry and yard work were three of her most passionate pastimes.
Josephine is survived by her four sons, Michael J. (David Blackwell) of St Petersburg, FL, Stephen M. (Melinda Almond) of Birdsboro, PA, Joseph D Jr (Michael Cook) of Royersford, and Christopher M. (Heidi Talley) of Royersford. Josie is also survived by her two grandchildren, Rylan A Nesspor of Schwenksville, PA and Joshua D. Nesspor of East Falls, PA and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home 135 Bridge St, Spring City, PA from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church 838 Walnut St, Royersford, PA at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 14. Directly following mass, interment will be at Limerick Memorial Gardens, Limerick, PA.
