Obituary of Theresa M. Sheetz

Theresa M. Sheetz, 85, Spring City, PA

Theresa M. Sheetz, 85, of Spring City, PA passed away at home on July 17, 2024.

Theresa was born on August 21, 1938, in Helfenstein, PA to the late Aloysius and the late Eleanor (Hummel) Morgan. Theresa was raised in Locust Gap, PA and resided in Spring City since 1967.  She graduated from Mount Carmel Catholic High School in 1956. Theresa worked as a phone operator at the Synthane Taylor Corporation in Oaks, and she remained close friends with many of her co-workers after her retirement. Theresa had a passion for music and played many keyboard instruments including the piano and the accordion. She also had a beautiful singing voice.  Her love of music was passed on to her children, all of whom sing and play musical instruments. In her spare time, she enjoyed drawing and gardening. She was a devoted member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spring City. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.  Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Theresa leaves behind her children: Charles Sheetz/Tiger, Paul Sheetz, Albert Sheetz, and Tina Wheeler (the late Tim). She also leaves behind her brother, James Morgan. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Sheetz, her siblings Albert Morgan and Irene Cappel, and her grandson, Sean Wheeler.

Visitation of family and friends will take place Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 11-12pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475. The funeral mass will be held directly after the viewing.
