My heartfelt condolences to the Thum family! Mr. Thum was my shop teacher back when I was in Spring Ford Middle School. He was a great teacher and was always there to help! Rest in Peace Mr. Thum!
We were so lucky to have met the Thum family when we were living in Ariana Village. Tim was a wonderful guy and would do anything for you. RIP Tim you will be truly missed by everyone and we were so grateful to have had you in our lives.

Mr. Thum was my Industrial Arts teacher in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade when Spring-Ford created Middle School around 1982. I was fortunate enough to have been selected as the Industrial Arts award winner each of those years. His teachings along with Mr Zawislak's are probably why I have had long careers in the Home Improvement business with both Sears and now Home Depot Pro. I was blessed to have had him as a teacher.
Thank you Mr. Thum
My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

We met Tim when we moved to Ariana Village. The four of us just clicked. He loved my stuffed cabbage (since Diane didn’t make it) I would always share with him. Tom and Tim were always together at the Woodshop and enjoyed each others company and stories. We will truly miss you Tim.
Love you and be good up there.

We first met Tim when he was looking at the house across the street from us. I couldn't believe that is wife would let him choose a new home without her being there. Tim and Diane became neighbors and friends and a very important part of our community in Douglass Village. Their daughter Karin and Hope were welcome additions. Tim will be very much missed. He fought a good fight. Rest in peace Tim.
