Obituary of Donna J. Berry

Donna  J. Berry, 64, Bechtlesville

Donna Berry, 64,  passed away Monday February 19, 2024 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest after a valiant fight with cancer.

She was one of five children born August 11, 1959 in Phoenixville to the late  John Berry, Jr. and Sara (Mock) Berry.  Donna was a long-time resident of Royersford and graduated from Spring Ford High School, class of 1977 where she was an active member of the Marching Rams as a Trombone player.  She even participated in the Spring Ford Alumni Band. 

Donna believed in community and loving people well.  She was a team player on a bowling league. Donna was employed as an auditor and enjoyed her job and coworkers.  She was an avid gardener and a certified scuba diver.  Donna served the community as a first responder and drove the Ambulance on the Spring Ford Rescue Squad. 

Donna leaves behind her mother Sara Berry;  brother:  David Berry and three sisters:  Diane Pennington, Mary Alice Wiglusz and Karen Smoyer; Nine nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews and her best friend:  Becky Reese Leonard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday February 28, 2024, in Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, with Eric Moser officiating.

Visitation with Friends and Family will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28 prior to the service at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
