On June, 2nd, 1988, I walked into Ileana’s office to be interviewed. I noticed a picture of her dog. It was a dachshund. We chatted about our passion for the breed and funny dog stories. We were just so comfortable chatting. One topic lead to another and we laughed as if we knew each other forever. We caught ourselves and realized that Ileana needed to interview me. Looking back, it the connection was weird. As Ileana would always say… long story short… on that sunny June day, I got myself a dream job, an amazing boss, a genuine friend forever and a husband! Which will always be your favorite story to share! I will always miss you forever ileana !
