William D. Moore Jr.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William D. Moore Jr., a beloved member of the Spring City community, who passed away at the age of 85, surrounded by the warmth of his home. William, born on November 4, 1938, in Nantmeal to the late William and Ida (Weaver) Moore. He spent most of his life residing in Spring City with his late wife, Patricia Moore.
William was a devout member of Brownback's United Church of Christ. After serving in the Marine Corps, he dedicated three decades of his life as a foreman for Philadelphia Electric. Bill also was employed by Glocker Real Estate for over 27 years after retirement from PECO.
He is survived by his three children, William III, Scott (Jennifer), and Jeff. Along with his sister, Sally Ann and brothers Gary and Alvin, survived by second wife Pat.
In addition to his immediate family, William leaves his sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Brownback’s United Church of Christ on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM. A Masonic service will begin at 10:45. Visitation with friends and family will be held prior to the service from 9 until 10:45 at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, located at 640 Ridge Rd, Spring City, PA 19475.
