Obituary of Robert Krisowaty

After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Robert Krisowaty of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, 75, passed away at home early Wednesday morning, November 15, 2023. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Jacqueline, and two children: Kevin Krisowaty (Noelle) of Aventura, Florida, and Stephanie Krisowaty Ennis (Thomas) of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, along with two grandchildren, Alexander Krisowaty and Grayson Ennis. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ellen and Fred Blakelock, along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
Bob was born on February 10, 1948 in Amityville, New York, one of four children to the late Stella (Tysowski) Krisowaty and Theodore Krisowaty, and he was raised in West Babylon. Drafted into the Army in 1969 to serve our country in Vietnam, he was upgraded to Supply Sergeant and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Commendation Medal, both for heroism in combat. Upon completion of his tour of duty, Bob attended Villanova University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and also went on to receive his CPA license. He became Vice President of Finance at Reliance Insurance Company in Philadelphia before relocating to Ohio where he was Chief Financial Officer at Westfield Insurance until his retirement in 2011.
Bob and Jacqueline raised a beautiful family together of which they were so very proud. In addition to spending time with his cherished family and friends he also enjoyed golfing, the beach, and the Eagles. Bob was a man of kindness, great character, and integrity who will be deeply missed by all the people who love and admire him but especially by his wife, his children and their families who shared an unconditional love with him.
A Visitation and Military Honors will be held on Thursday, December 28th, from 11:00-12:30 at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville. Interment of Ashes will be private. Online condolences can be sent to R. Strunk Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can go to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
