Obituary of Warren J. Hanna

Warren J. Hanna, 65, Royersford

Warren Hanna, 65, devoted husband to Wendy (Robinson) Hanna, passed away early Saturday morning, October 21, 2023 in the Phoenixville Hospital.

One of four children, Warren was born June 24, 1958 in Philadelphia to the late Warren Hanna, Sr. and Marguerite Davis. Bud was a 1976 graduate of Coatesville High School and worked for many years at Wyeth, Inc.  In 1991 he married Wendy and moved to Royersford, PA.  Prior to his retirement, Bud continued to give back to the underserved, by driving a delivery truck for the Food Bank of Chester County.

Bud was an avid Flyers fan and had a passion for the sport as both a player and a referee for more than thirty-five years.  He was a devoted PawPaw and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and their many activities.     

Surviving: Wendy Robinson Hanna, wife of 32 years, Stepson, Brett Hanby (wife, Talia) and Stepdaughter, Nicole Shuff (husband, Jon), mother, Marguerite (Davis) Hanna, siblings:  Wayne Hanna (wife, Tracy) and Aimee Moore (husband, Kirk); four grandchildren:  Brett, Jr., Lucianna, Tanner and Cameran. Preceded in death is his father, Warren Hanna, Sr. and sister, Bethann Murphy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM Monday October 30, 2023, in Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City 19475.

Visitation with Family will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Monday, October 30 prior to the service at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
