So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. A Martial Artist friend of mine just told me about Steve this evening.
Steve and I were Martial Arts brothers from the early '80's. We studied from the same Taiji instructor, Mr. Hen-ping Chiang, for oh so many years together. We both spent countless hours training and honing our skills. Steve was an extremely accomplished practitioner - a perfect match and a great buddy to me. We became close friend from the very first day of meeting. That friendship continued throughout the years. Time passes on - I moved out of the area and so did Steve, moving to Florida. We did, however, speak to each other a few times since, but after his move (and mine as well), we haven't had the opportunity to meet in person. For that, I am truly sorry. Time shoots by so darn fast. As a Vietnam Veteran myself, I give you, Steve, a slow hand salute, brother. "Older Steve" as he fondly would often address me, misses you. In your lifetime, "you have done well, Grasshopper". RIP, dear friend....RIP.
