I had the privilege of being taught by Mr. Eric Covington in my first year of secondary school in Ghana (Ghana Secondary School) in 2001. He was my Physics Tutor. His practical teaching techniques was exceptional and it helped me develop keen interest in the fields of Physics and Mathematics. Dear Eric, we have met in Manila the Philippines through your wife Christine. We were PPT neighbors back then. What a battle you have fought dear. But at the same time, what a great life you have lived, and such beautiful experiences and fantastic adventures you have shared with Christine and the girls. You are greatly missed but will never be forgotten. For the family and friends he left behind, I wish you peace and acceptance but also celebration of life, ours and Eric's.

I had the privilege to meet Eric and his family in South Africa, when they attended centurion Vineyard. Eric was a quiet man, but friendly. I had Summer and San San in Sunday school and observed Eric to be a very patient dad and husband. May the family remember his gentleness. I pray that God will keep Christene, Summer and San San in His warm embrace.
