She was born June 11, 1939 to the late Duncan Curry (Don) and Anna Laura (Montgomery) Finkbiner. The last living child and youngest of three, predeceased by her brother Robert Lee (Judy) Finkbiner and Lorna Eileen (Harvey) Steltz.
Esther was a graduate of Phoenixville Area High School, class of 1957. She left this world a few weeks before she could attend her reunion, where she was going to wear her letterman sweater for “cheerleading”.

She had many jobs during her lifetime but caregiving was her career. She worked at Penhurst Center, Emeryville Center and Norristown State Hospital. Once she retired in 1999 she moved back to Phoenixville to care for her mother Laura until her passing in 2009.
Determined and strong willed are words that best describe Esther. She enjoyed travelling but what she loved most was her home away from home, Sonestown Pa, the mountains of Pennsylvania.
