Jane M. Sciallo, 88, Spring City
Jane Sciallo, 88, widow of the late Frank Sciallo, passed away late Monday afternoon, August 29, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.
Jane was one of seven children born on July 21, 1934 in Spring City to the late Wilmer and the late Mary (Taglieber) Mosteller. A lifelong Spring City resident, Jane attended Spring City High School. She was on the Altar Guild of the Spring City Methodist Church and was a regular volunteer on the Spring City Methodist Annual Rummage Sale Committee. Jane enjoyed dancing, crocheting and embroidering, but her most loved past time was investing in her family.
Jane leaves behind her devoted daughter, Mary Jane, wife to Sam Fryberger of Spring City and two grandsons: Christopher Fryberger (wife, Trang) and Stephen Fryberger (wife, Crystal). Preceding her in death: one great-grandson, Jason Fryberger and all of her six siblings.
A Funeral Service will be held at Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Erick Kern officiating. Friends and Family are invited to visit with the family prior to the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow the service at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Parkerford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at The Parkinson Foundation or Forgottencats.org
