He was my coach and neighbor used to come over and play cards loved playing pokeno. Gave my kids their first dog. Practices were so much tougher than games loved playing his famous "bull in the ring". Had a nice party for the football team 7-8 grade at assistant coach Biglers house at Bucktown two houses from Malvern Bank then next day took team to West Chester College to see a football game. Our little secret was when in 7-10 grades rode home with him instead of riding the practice bus nobody on team knew this. Thanks Uncle Pete. Joe Gaffey

Uncle Pete always made sure that when he was around, everyone was going to have good food and good fun. I have fond memories of Uncle Pete and Aunt Florence at Holidays, Sunday Dinners, and oh, the Football Games!
My brother Scott has numerous (funny) stories about hunting and fishing with Uncle Pete. "Always a good time" (that's all I could get out of Scott).
Best Wishes and Comfort to the Family...Aunt Florence, Lori, Terri, Todd and Cheryl; cherish your memories because they are forever. No doubt, Uncle Pete will be remembered fondly...and will be missed.

I had Mr. Mosteller as my History teacher. I couldn't write the notes fast enough. He suggested I type them in class. Most teachers not allow that. He treated you not only as a student, but a friend. He understood different peoples situations. OJR 1963, Art Mauger. PS. I trust he and my late wife, Judy Lynn Mauger, (04-17-2019) are talking over old times.

Uncle Pete will be missed. As a child, I remember attending an OJR graduation. As soon as I saw Uncle Pete, I screamed "Uncle Petey!" and leapt into his arms. I know the students teased him unmercifully about it, but he never said a word. I remember that he gave me an old textbook to play school with. He is part of the reason I was an educator for 32 years. I will always remember the times out at Birchrunville and playing with the horses. Thanks for being part of my childhood. I will miss you always.
