Obituary of Annette Marie Fritz

Annette Marie Fritz, 70, Barto

Annette Fritz, 70, widow of the late Douglas Fritz, passed away early Saturday morning, October 9, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after fighting a valiant battle against cancer. 

She was born January 14, 1951 in York, PA to the late James Reichard and the late Phyllis (Landis) Reichard. One of four children, Annette spent most of her growing up years in Kylertown, PA.  She graduated from West Branch High School in Allport, PA and went on to further her studies at Philadelphia College of the Bible. She started working in the Philadelphia area and attended Limerick Chapel. On a blind date, Annette found the love of her life Douglas Fritz whom she eventually married and had two children: Zachary and Heidi.  

Douglas was tragically taken too early and Annette spent her remaining years a widow where she supported her family as a Customer Service Agent for Johnson Controls, Inc. She never missed the Annual trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show and vacations to Ocean City, NJ. She doted on her children and grandchildren finding just the right present while shopping. She was a talented pianist and taught piano lessons.  

Annette leaves behind her son, Zachary Fritz (Wife, Jackie) and daughter, Heidi Guido (Husband, Ian) of Barto, PA; Sisters: Cheryl Guffey (husband, William) of Royersford, Joyce Reichard of Kylertown, PA and Brother: Jerry Reichard (wife, Tami) of Woodland, PA. Five grandchildren: Coraline, Douglas Fritz and Uriah, Iyla and Benaiah Guido.

Friends are invited to attend the Graveside service at Limerick Garden of Memories on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2 PM.
