John Corbett, 90, Lower Pottsgrove
John Corbett, 90, loving husband to Lori (Margolis) Corbett passed away Friday October 1, 2021, at home.
He was born an only child on December 9, 1930 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada to the late William and Ada (Torode) Corbett. A product of being born during the Great Depression, John understood the concept of hard work. He enjoyed square dancing with friends and traveling with his wife. He and Lori even took a cruise around the world to celebrate his 70th birthday. Day hikes were a common adventure too; he and Lori met at a hiking club retreat at Lake Harriman, in Tuxedo, NY, and after a year of courtship enjoyed more than 41 years of marriage. John will be missed by his Bethel United Methodist church community where he was a faithful Sunday School attendee and sang Tenor in the choir.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday October 7, 2021 in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City with Rev. Jacqueline Hines officiating.
