My deepest sympathies to the family. I grew up at Faith Bible and knew the Gerhard family quite well. Shirley was a kind and loving person that welcomed everyone that walked through the doors. I know that Shirley loved all the children that she taught through the years as much as they all loved her. She was a very good friend to me and I appreciated all of her guidance and friendship that she gave me. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
