My heartfelt condolence to the children of Bob and Pat. I had the honor of being Bob's dance partner for 10+ years at the KP Corral and other dance venues, until I moved out of state when I met and married my husband, who also had the honor of meeting your dad. I always thought of Bob on "Tax Day," his birthday. I recently went on-line to find his address so I could send him a card, and was shocked to see the obituary for both your mom and dad. I cannot imagine your heartbreak. My husband died suddenly five years ago and I miss him terribly. In all the years that your dad and I went country dancing, he always spoke of you kids. He was so proud of you all. I also had the pleasure of knowing your mom, because I would meet your dad at their home when we would drive to Lancaster to dance. I am so truly sorry for your loss. Their love was ageless. Please know I don't mean to be insensitive when I say they were blessed to meet God together. I look forward to the day that I can be with my beloved husband once again. Dear Family,
I only knew Pat for 2 days while a patient in Reading hospital as her roommate. We shared a bit about our families and I prayed with Pat before I left. She was such a sweet lady and she spoke very lovingly of her wonderful children and was concerned for her husband! I’m so sorry to hear of her passing and for her husband Bob too! Oh how painful your grief must be. Please know my husband and I are praying for you all in this most difficult time! Especially praying for Barb in West Virginia who she spoke of quite a bit. Bob and I used to ride to country dances in, what seemed like, all corners of the region wherever such dances would be.
When visiting Bob and Patty to meet up with Bob for those shared rides to dances, Patty was always so kind, sweet, and welcoming.
Patty's and Bob's passing is a huge loss that extends to our close knit dancing community.
