Mary Lou Keim, 82, Pottstown
Mary Lou Keim, 82, wife of the late James Keim, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Manatawny Manor.
A life-long resident of Spring City, Mary Lou was born May 1, 1938 to the late Earl and Mary (Raum) Howe. She was the youngest of their three daughters. Mary Lou was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Spring City, participating in the choir for many years as well as vacation Bible school. She had a passion for children and volunteered in the church's nursery and provided many years of child care for friends and family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, serve others and share the products of her baking skills. Her cheerful demeanor was evident in her many years of waitressing and then her employment at Giant in Royersford.
Mary Lou leaves behind her three children: Lee Urner (wife, Catherine), Donna (Urner) Brunner, and Tina (Urner) Harp (husband, Jim), six grandchildren: Zachary, Jared, Asia, Daniel, Kyle and Matthew, as well as eight great grandchildren. Preceding her death were her two sisters, Reta (Howe) Sheats and Florence (Howe) Beiler.
Due to COVID, services will be held privately. Burial will be at the cemetery of Bethel United Methodist Church.
