Virginia Moore, 89, Phoenixville

Virginia Moore, 89, widow of the late Huey C. Moore, passed away Monday January 18, 2021 in her Phoenixville residence.

She was born September 28, 1931 in Phoenixville to the late  Matthew  and the late Laura (Berg) Moran. One of eight children, Virginia spent all of her life in the Phoenixville Area.  She attended Phoenixville high school and worked for Spring City Knitting Co. for 18 years until she retired in 1985. She later filled her days of retirement, working at the S.E. Veterans Center in housekeeping. She attended Faith Baptist church of Phoenixville.   Virginia and Huey had 2 beautiful children:  Robert Moran and Laurie Hicks. She enjoyed her fur family too.

Virginia leaves behind her son Robert Moran of Phoenixville,  her daughter, Laurie Hicks of Kenhorst, PA, Sisters:  Vera Gercules of Phoenixville and Margaret Mason of Philadelphia; two brothers:  Eugene Robert Moran of Gilbertsville and Gerald Moran of Aston, PA and two grandchildren, Kevin Shalkowski and Daniel Kovach and two great grandchildren.  Preceding her in death was her sister Loretta Murray, and brothers Matthew C. Moran and William Moran,

A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Baptist church with Rev. Jack Tompkinson officiating.
