I am so sorry to learn of Mrs. Schaeffer’s passing. Both she and Mr. Schaeffer were great neighbors who were kind enough to invite my family to their legendary picnics. I smile when I think back on the trips to Scrappy’s and the time she took us to Asbury Park and taught me to how to dive under the waves. It might not seem much but I didn’t know how to swim. She gave me enough confidence to go in the water and have fun. She was a great lady and will remembered with kind thoughts and smiles. Condolences to the whole family on this loss.
