Obituary of Walter Pokorski
Walter Pokorski, 95, Spring City
Walter Pokorski, 95 , husband of Jo Ann (Hermanns) Pokorski passed away late Monday night, December 21, 2020 in the Seasons Hospice.
He was born in Merchantville, New Jersey to Adam and Anastasia (Zegda) Pokorski. Walter served in the US Navy during WWII in the North Atlantic. Later, he then worked as a foreman in the shipping industry. He was an avid golfer and also loved camping, traveling, astronomy and remote control planes.
In addition to his wife Jo Ann of 71 years he is survived by two children, Sandy Hand and Richard Pokorski; and grandchildren Adam and Trena. He was preceded in death by his son, Walter Bruce Pokorski; sisters, Maime, Stella, Frances, Elizabeth, Patsy, and Helen; and brothers Johnny and Stanley.
All arrangements are private at the request of the family.
