Obituary of Mark S. Chester

Mark Steven Chester, 59, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on 22 March 2020 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Mark Steven Chester was born on Fitchburg, Massachusetts to Anthony (Tony) Joseph Chester and Evelyn Josephine (Sacino) Chester on 8 July 1960. He went to high school at St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School and graduated in 1978. He continued his education at University of Lowell, Lowell, Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Following his undergraduate education, he attended Law School at Villanova University in Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1985 with a Juris Doctorate. He found his calling as an Associate Professor with Reading Area Community College (RACC) where he taught Economics and Law courses. Mark had a multitude of hobbies and interests and was involved with many organizations.

Mark Steven Chester is survived by his mother, Evelyn (Sacino) Chester of Winter Park, Florida; his sister toni-lynn; chester of these united States of America; and nephew Antonio Chester of Williamsburg, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Chester.

At the request of the family, a private viewing and visitation will be held at R Strunk Funeral Home on 15 April 2020 at 9:30 AM. Private Funeral and Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on 15 April 2020 at St Ann Cemetary, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania with Father John Newns of St. Ann Parish officiating. All funeral arrangements will be handled by R. Strunk Funeral Home. 

Once the coronavirus pandemic fear, panic, and deprivation of rights has subsided, the family will hold a memorial service in Mark's honor for the multitude of friends he leaves behind.

The family has requested that memorial donations may be made in his name for ongoing research focused on the root cause and prevention of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis‎ (ALS) and Alzheimer's Disease.
