Katie Rice Syphard Shantz, 94, Pottstown
Katie Rice (Syphard) Shantz, wife of the late John Kratz Shantz, entered into her Eternal Promise on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
Katie is survived by a son; Rev. John W. Shantz and Sandra L., Pastors at Spring City Fellowship Church, preceded in death by a daughter Gloria M. Krause, husband Sterling. Also surviving are seven grand children and twenty three great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Spring City Fellowship Church, 540 Glass Ave Spring City, PA 19475
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to Spring City Fellowship Church. The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home is handling arrangements; you may pay on line tributes at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
