Marilyn C. Long, 53, Douglassville
Marilyn Long, 53, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2019 in the Reading Hospital.
She was born January 21, 1966 in Phoenixville to Donald and Margaret (Cloud) Grubb, and has lived in Pottstown and Berks County.
Marilyn was a graduate of Spring Ford High School where she played in basketball, field hockey, tennis, softball, and participated in track and field. She then attended Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing.
After high school, she was employed as a customer service representative.
She was best remembered for her smile and laughter.
In addition to her mother and father, Marilyn leaves behind her two children, Brett Long and Sarah Long, her two grandchildren, Lucious Long and Benjamin Riddle; as well as her three brothers, Paul, Mark, and John, and a sister, Susan.
