Janet L. Hardin, 79, Brigantine, NJ
Janet Hardin, 79, widow of the late Howard Hutchinson passed away in the early morning of Saturday October 19, 2019 in the Pennsburg Manor.
She was born January 26, 1940 in Norristown to the late Theodore Scholl and the late Grace (Clark). She retired after years as a food server at Resorts Casino. Janet loved the beach and has resided in Brigantine, NJ since 1985. Affectionately known as “Nana”, Janet prided herself in the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, enjoyed time in the garden, and her favorite past time was yearly cruises
Janet leaves behind three children, David McHugh (Pam), James McHugh and Lori Sammaritano (Robert); two siblings: Elaine Gilham (Bill) and Donald Scholl, twelve Grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons: Keith and Gary McHugh and a daughter, Lynn Prete.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday October 25, 2019 in R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville with Rev. Chris Czuchra officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, October 25 prior to the service at R. Strunk Funeral Home.
