F. Yvonne (West) Henry wife of the late Charles T. Henry, age 80, died on Tuesday evening in the Pottstown memorial Medical Center. Born in Ava, Missouri, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Harvey and Joe Dorris (Baumgarten) West. Yvonne resided most of her life in Chester County. She attended Ridner University majoring in education with a minor in theater. She was a member the Brownback's United Church of Christ in Spring City; she was also a member of the Friends of the Arts and the Coventry Players (Theatre Group). She was an avid reader and enjoyed the arts and theatre; she also enjoyed spending time cooking and traveling. She is survived by three children: Daughter, Yvonne L. wife of Christopher Pierce of Pottstown, Sons: Mark C. husband of Theresa Henry of Chesapeake, Va. and Greg E. husband of Suzanne Henry of Boyertown, and three granddaughters and three grandsons. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday evening at Brownback's United Church of Christ 640 Ridge Road Spring City, PA from 7pm to 9pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at the church with the Rev. Frank Lamson officiating. A private graveside service will be held Sunday at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
