Obituary of James D Gushue

James D."Jim" Gushue, age 55, a resident of East Vincent Township, PA husband of Sally (Watson) Gushue died Wednesday in the Phoenixville Hospital.
He was born in Camden, NJ a son of James and Grace Rosalie (Donohue) Gushue.
Jim was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ and a graduate of the former Glassboro State now Rowan University with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed for twenty nine years at Lockheed Martin as Director, IS&GS-Defense Contracts. He was a very a conscientious employee.
Jim volunteered extensively with the Coventry Little League and loved coaching baseball; He was very active and always supported the Shawnee End Zone Club and the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats. He was a season ticket holder for University of Delaware Football (Blue Hens) and a supporter of Penn State Football. He enjoyed playing golf and riding his road bike on the weekends. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and dry sense of humor.
He was a member of St. Basil the Great Parish in Kimberton.
In addition to his wife of 29 years he is proud father of his Penn State University Honors Graduate: Leanne Gushue and his son: Charles Gushue; A Sister: Grace Ann Falkowski wife of Phil and Brother: Timothy L. husband of Sarah E. Gushue and Nephews: Philip and Christopher and Nieces: Lauren, Jessica, and Courtney.
A sister in law: Susan W. Durbin; Husband: James Durbin; and Father and mother-in-law: Charles T. and Phyllis Watson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Monday December 12, 2011 at 12:30pm at St. Basil the Great Parish 2300 Kimberton Road Kimberton PA 19442. The Rev. Gary T. Pacitti will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Monday morning in church from 11am- 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the James D. Gushue Memorial Fund. PNC Bank 159 Nutt Rd. Phoenixville PA 19460
