Catherine E. (Zagar) Cloud, 87, of East Coventry Township, died August 24, 2011 at Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, PA where she had been a resident since 2003. Catherine was the wife of Frank Cloud to whom she was married from 1959 until his death in 1991. She was born in Northern Pennsylvania on September 18, 1925, and lived on Hill Church Road, Spring City most of her life. She is survived by her husband's niece, Margaret Grubb, wife of Donald Grubb. In addition, she is survived by many good friends, including Shirley and Ron Smith of Sykesville, MD; Susan and Lewis Shipp of Columbia, MD; Carol and Ed Todd of Muncey, PA; and her long time roommate at Manatawny Manor, Pat Endy. Catherine worked at the Spring City Knitting Mill as an inspector until her retirement. She loved to cook and bake and was famous for her cakes, pies, and potato salad. An avid animal lover, she was able to feed by hand a wild groundhog named "Chipper". In addition, she loved to take bus trips with her friends from church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, on Saturday, September 17 at 3:30. With Sister Jane Roper officiating. Her Burial was private in the St. Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery.
