Ruth Elaine (Jeffries) Bray, wife of Charles L. Bray of Spring City age 78, died Saturday July 23, 2011 in the Chestnut Knoll Nursing Home, Boyertown, PA. She was born in East Pikeland Township to the late Alexander and the late F. Eleanor (Latshaw) Jeffries. A 1951graduate of the former Spring City High School. Ruth resided all of her life in Spring City, Ruth was employed at the former Valley Forge Flag Company, the West Company and also the Philadelphia Electric Company. Ruth enjoyed traveling bowled in several bowling leagues and was an avid Phillies Fan; She loved to dance, bird watch, Mickey Mouse. She is survived by sister: Gwendolyn wife of Arthur McCullough; Several Nieces and Nephews but especially her "Terry". She is preceded in death by sister: Lois wife of James Mull, Brothers: William husband of Jean Jeffries and Robert Jeffries. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday August 13, 2011 at 11:00am at the Spring City Fellowship Church, Glass Ave, Spring City. The Rev. John Shantz officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the Chestnut Knoll Nursing Home 120 West 5th Street Boyertown PA 19512.
