Harold C. Griffith, age, 77, beloved husband of Patricia (Schaeffer) Griffith, of Warwick Township, PA died on Sunday in The Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA He was born in Pottstown, PA to the late Thomas and Helen (Lusby) Griffith. Harold resided most of his life in Warwick Township, he was a graduate from Warwick High School, and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Affectionately known as "Tonto", he worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company for 25 years until his retirement. In addition, he enjoyed gardening, and was active with the Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years. He is survived by two children, a son, Joseph Griffith of Birdsboro and a daughter, Joyce Griffith of Pottstown. He is predeceased by a brother, Doyle Griffith. His funeral services will be held on Friday, June17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Bethesda Baptist Church, 2140 Harmonyville Road, Pottstown, PA. The Reverend Bill Wexler will officiate. Interment to follow in the East Nantmeal Cemetery. His viewing will be held at the church Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the Bethesda Baptist Church to the above address.
